Edwin Gilbert â known as Eddie in the family â was a son of John and Caroline Telfer. He appears in the family photo taken about 1911 at Angle Farm, standing behind his mother Caroline's chair. He married Ellen Need and together they raised four children: Gilbert Eustace, Eleanor Hope, Reginald Francis and Andrew Laurence. His son Bert served in Palestine during WWII.
