Summary
Joseph March was born about 1767 in Aylsham, Norfolk, England, and died there in 1831. He married Sarah Jacobs (abt. 1763–1811). He is the father of Joseph March (1797–1883) — the patriarch who emigrated to South Australia on the Canton in 1846 with his wife Sophia Webster and seven children.
Joseph March (1767–1831) is the great-great-grandfather of Hannah Baker (marries into the Parker line) and thus an ancestor of Mark Telfer via the English Baker-March-Webster branch.

Neither parent is known. WikiTree (March-1128) lists the grandfather and grandmother as unknown ("[March grandfather? please help]" and "[March grandmother? please help]"). No baptism record for Joseph March has been found in online transcriptions.
