• Marriage date corrected: The RootsWeb source records the marriage as 5 Sep 1923 in Renmark SA (not 3 Jan 1921 at Tantanoola as previously recorded). This later marriage at age 31 (rather than 27) and in Renmark rather than Tantanoola needs verification against the original SA marriage index.


• Interstate migration: Died in Ringwood, Victoria (outer eastern Melbourne suburb). This explains why her death was not found in South Australian records — she moved to Victoria after marriage.


• Marriage vs mother's death: Original research noted she married "just months before her mother's death in late 1921" — with the corrected 1923 marriage date, the timeline changes significantly. Her mother died in November 1921, and Alma married nearly two years later in Renmark.
