Life Summary

Thomas was the eldest child of Richard Paynter and Jean Telfer, born at Ward Farm near Kersbrook in the Adelaide Hills in 1859. He farmed at Ward Farm (Kersbrook) and later at Arden Vale in the Quorn/Peterborough region of South Australia. He married Elizabeth Jane Liebich at Tarcowie on 1 December 1881.
