Deceased Relatives

Once someone has passed away, their story is theirs to tell publicly — that's the whole point of a family history archive. For relatives who have died, we publish their dates and places of birth and death, their family relationships, photos, and a written life story.

Living Relatives

For people who are still living, we keep things private by default. A living person's page shows only what's needed to hold the family tree together:

• ✅ Full name and full date of birth
• ✅ Birthplace
• ✅ Family relationships — parents, siblings, spouse or partner, and children
• ✅ Marriage and divorce dates
• ✅ Photos with captions

That's all. We deliberately leave off life summaries, current residence, work history or employers, schooling, personal stories or notes, and social profiles. Being part of the family tree does not mean sharing your private life with the world.

For the small number of family members who prefer not to appear in online search results at all, their pages are also kept out of search-engine indexes.

If you are a living relative and would like your own information changed, reduced, or removed, simply contact us — we'll sort it out.

To get in touch you can use our Contact page. We don't publish personal phone numbers or private email addresses on any of our pages. The only way to reach us is through the site's contact address: [email protected].

What This Site Collects

We're privacy-first and keep collection to an absolute minimum:

• No cookies — this site does not set tracking cookies and does not try to build ad profiles of visitors.
• Privacy-friendly analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without using cookies and doesn't track you across sites or identify individuals.
• Contact messages only — if you email us or use the contact form, we keep your name and email address only as long as needed to reply. We don't add you to any mailing list or share your details with anyone.

Information Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the site and the small amount of data we hold. This is a volunteer-run family project, not a company, so we keep things simple: minimal data, minimal storage, no third-party sharing.
