Biography
Douglas Ivan Telfer was born 6th October 1913 at Frome, South Australia, the third child of Albert George Telfer (1881–1970) and Beatrice Rowe Telfer (1877–1951). The family were farming at Warcowie at the time, moving to Hill River (near Clare) in 1923.
He died 16th January 1993 at Colonel Light Gardens, South Australia, and was cremated at Centennial Park.
