Biography
Melville Bruce Telfer was born 30th April 1914, the fourth child of Albert George Telfer (1881–1970) and Beatrice Rowe Telfer (1877–1951). He was born at Warcowie and, like his siblings, moved with the family to Hill River (near Clare) in 1923.
He married Violet Merle Crossman (1 Nov 1912 – 16 Sep 2004) and died 1st March 1997. He is buried at Clare Old Cemetery with his wife Violet Merle.
