Life Summary
Elizabeth Parker was the eldest daughter of David Parker (1822–1888) and Isabella Kelly (c. 1825–1867). Her death registration records her age as 39 at 10 August 1886, which places her birth about 1847 — almost certainly in Scotland, since the family sailed for South Australia aboard the Martin Luther in 1852. She was therefore one of the three children who made the voyage with their parents.
She died on 10 August 1886 in the Hundred of Pirie, in the same district where her younger sisters Agnes (January 1885) and Margaret (September 1885) had died only months before her. Her father was named as her relative on the register. She is buried at Port Pirie Cemetery.
