Biography
Mary Ellen Masters was born in 1852, the eleventh child of Charles Masters (1809–1866) and Martha Williams Masters (1814–1896).
She was a witness at her younger sister Caroline's marriage to John Telfer on 22nd September 1874 at Tarlee — Caroline's marriage certificate lists "Mary Ellen" as one of the witnesses.
Mary Ellen married a Mr Roach (given name not recorded) and farmed at White Hut, near Clare. She died there in 1935 and is buried at White Hut Cemetery.
